Who is it for?

A HSE compliant and OFQUAL regulated qualification, this course will provide the knowledge and skills necessary for first aiders working in a larger or higher risk workplace environment.

Course includes the basic operation and use of an automated external defibrillator (AED)

Topics covered

The first unit covers the same basics as the Level 2 award, including the treatment of minor injuries, shock, choking and unconsciousness. In the second unit, students learn how to deal with burns, eye injuries and medical conditions such as anaphylaxis.
